Candy Swipe Matchwin Free Demo
Stake's Fun Play mode lets you try the swipe-to-match mechanic, the Magic Meter and every buy feature with virtual credits. Here's how to open it and what to look for while you play.
How to open the demo
Candy Swipe Matchwin is a Stake exclusive, so the demo lives on Stake's game page. We don't embed it here, because Stake controls where the game is shown.
In the lobby, the game appears as the tile on the left: a candy-maker in a purple top hat holding a swirl lollipop. You'll find it in the Only on Stake and New Releases sections.
-
Go to the game page
Open Candy Swipe Matchwin at Stake with the button above or from the Only on Stake section.
-
Choose Fun Play
Below the game, switch from Real Play to Fun Play. When we tried it, the game loaded with $1,000 of virtual credits.
-
Press to play
The game opens on its Candy Park title screen. Press it, and the board appears with a "Swipe to play" hint.
-
Read the rules
The info button at the bottom right opens the settings. The How to play, Symbols and RTP tabs explain everything, with worked examples.
What's on the screen
- The board
- 7×7 candies in the middle. Swipe one towards a neighbour to swap them.
- Win and multiplier
- Above the board, the current play's win and its multiplier, starting at 1X.
- Balance and Unlock Bonus
- Top right, your balance and the button for the bonus menu, with the Magic Meter under it.
- Amount
- Your bet, with − and + buttons.
- Total and info
- Bottom right, the total win and the info button that opens the rules.
What to test first
- How chains pay. Each chain is only worth 0.05x and the first one is free. Watch how many swaps pay nothing at all.
- Bigger shapes. Try to make lines of four or five, or L and T shapes, and see how much of the board they clear.
- How fast the Magic Meter fills. Count the plays between Ice Bonus triggers.
- Extra Luck. Play a stretch with it on and a stretch with it off, and compare.
- The buy features. See what Enhanced Moves and Multi Mayhem actually do before you think about paying 50x or 1,000x for them.
Fun Play vs real money
| Topic | Fun Play | Real Play |
|---|---|---|
| Credits | Virtual, $1,000 to start | Your own money |
| Winnings | Can't be withdrawn | Can be withdrawn |
| Account | Not needed when we tried it | Required, with age checks |
| Rules and features | All features, including buys | The same rules |
| Bonus buys | Paid with virtual credits | Paid with real money |
A good demo run doesn't predict real results. Each play is independent, and the RTP only shows over a very large number of plays.
